Hi, I'm Nora Tjernagel. I love designing and creating clothes and costumes.

I am a nimble seamstress, who can also knit, weave, dye and distress fabric, make hats and masks, alter garments, mend and embroider. I revel in playing with texture and color.

Costume design is the lens through which I view the world.

Collaborating with directors, designers and craftspeople to design, create and utilize clothing and accessories from different periods in history to help a character come to life is invigorating.
